We are freezing over here! I can honestly say that I'm ready for my Arizona summer....the routine of swimming, swimming and more swimming.
We had a free day a few weeks ago during Christmas break and decided to take the girls to the snow. Little did we realize it was a day for blizzard conditions! We drove up to Payson and almost turned around as we watched people pull over and put chains on their tires. Chains? What are those? :)
What a treat for us! I can't remember a time when I've seen so much snow. The picture of the girls was taken right in front of the Denny's on the main road. We ate breakfast and watched the snow fall. The restaurant was almost completely empty....who's crazy enough to go outside in these conditions? Apparently, we were!The other pictures were taken in a church parking lot. You would've never known....everything was covered. We could have been playing in a snow covered field for all we knew. It was delicious! Definitely worth the trip and one we will make again next year; as soon as my need for the warm sun, swimsuits and water is fulfilled :)
